BUT FIRST!
It’s been three years and three months since I started the newsletter. This is Article 231, and we now have over 1000 free subscribers. Oh my gosh!
Having the opportunity to share my thoughts and feelings with you has been a lifesaver as I recover from four years of caregiving, the death of my husband, and the creation of a new life. I am so apppreciative.
NOW THEN!
You might want to check out these newsletters and books if you haven’t already.

Books
The four stand-out books from the last three years are:
Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway - Susan Jeffers's book began my journey in facing my fears. Her discussion of the higher self and the chatterbox started my thinking in a different direction.
Atomic Habits - James Clear revolutionized my thinking about goals, strategies, and identity, as in my beliefs about myself.
Look for Me - Luke Russert wrote about coming to terms with the loss of his father and moving beyond. Throughout much of the book, I cried because he echoed the feelings I struggled with after Dan died.
Outlive—The Science and Art of Longevity—This book was very detailed, but Peter Attia makes essential points about aging well.
