Experts describe a connection in which the mind influences the body, and the body influences the mind. Do you agree?

Louise Hay was so ahead of her time. And now the Somatic therapy has taken it a step further.

HI CK, She certainly was. It's good to see that the mind-body connection is being considered more.

"Could that mean hurting knees affect my mood, or that anxiety gets in the way of thinking clearly?" I would have to give a resounding YES to these questions, Janice. When everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) hurts I can be mean as a snake or a whiny sniveling crybaby. Thank you for you advice and references!

I can definitely be whiny. Poor me, poor me, nothing done, etc. Mean? Not really.

I'm a pretty good whiner myself. I was in Santa Cruz yesterday - and was surprised to see the number of apartments being built. The Boardwalk was open and bustling but noticeably shorter. The candy shop was still there, so I got my peanut butter fudge.

As I trained personally with Louise back in 1990 and was the first to bring her work to the UK and Europe, I definitely agree with the body mind connection. In fact I’ve found her ‘little blue book’ of metaphysical causes of illlness to be incredibly accurate. Great article Janice, thank you!
