You are always so practical and insightful, Janice. Thank you. A focus on what is POSITIVE is so helpful. What we HAVE accomplished, rather than what we failed to do. What we still have, rather than what I we have lost. Every morning for about one minute I take stock. "I have all my teeth, my eyes still see, my ears still hear. Arthritis? Fiddle-dee-dee! I can still shuffle along on my own two feet, hold my coffee cup, step into the shower." Acceptance, I think, is a big part of lowering stress, giving thanks in ALL things (even the bad things have some good in them if we look for it.

Hi Sharron, Thank you for your response. I so agree - in taking stock, one of mine is "I woke up this morning." Sometimes, it can be difficult to focus on the positives, accomplishments, what we have, and acceptance. BUT in the long run - our lives may depend upon it.
