All of these points are valid and there is another that is equally important. Most of us are not aware of our dark side or shadow as described by Carl Jung. I found understanding and confronting my dark side to be liberating.

That's a good point. Many people are unwilling to look at that side of their personality. . . and it plays a major role.

Many of the same things I struggle with now that my normal has become a "new normal". Facing situations, I never had to deal with before now. Its hard work.
