I loved this information: Scientists from Tübingen University in Germany believe the human brain works slower in old age as it has to process a lifetime of stored-up information to recall simple facts. This is so true. I am constantly searching through all the filing cabinets in my mind to access the right folder with the memory or information that I need. So many filing cabinets.... Thanks for a helpful read.

What a great way to think of it - "filing cabinets in my mind to access the right folder with the memory or information that I need."

One more thing, Janice. I never have been able to figure out how to "share" articles on substack. I click on SHARE, and get a little box that says SHARE, but there is no place to type in an email. Any way, I wanted you to know I just sent this wonderful article off to 9 women by pasting in your link. (ps any idea what I am doing wrong with the substack sharing system?)

When I share, I copy past the link into an email, as well. But you ask a good question, I will have to play around with that - I rarely use the SHARE button but threw it in today. THANK YOU for sharing the article, hopefully we can save others some future grief.

Oh Janice! This is so important I will share it with three friends. It can be so hard to know what is true and what is not on the internet, to know when to click on a link and when to steer clear. This information you have shared provides such great criteria. Thank you for always doing our homework for us. Such a rare gift. And, golly! Thanks for the shoutout!
