Surprise me, Janice. Whatever you have to say will interest me. I am not a caregiver now, but I could be at any time. Life has a funny way of handing us challenges when we least expect them. As far as my own aging goes, I pick up all kinds of useful thoughts from the Aging Well News. Every little insight helps.

Hi Janice ~ I really like the way you have been combining scholarly information and personal stories. Of course, you know me I lean toward the personal stories. I look forward to reading your newsletter because, honestly, I don't know what I don't know & you are giving me a heads up. Thanks, Jan xoxo

Fantastic idea on how the caregiver can take care of him or herself. This topic cuts also across age groups. Looking forward to read more (and share it with a few people who could benefit from this knowledge).

Happy New Year! I love your positive message. My days of being a caregiver for my mother passed with her passing. I am interested in hearing your thoughts on mindfulness and spirituality, also more about the different types of wellness relating to growing old. Thanks for asking.

Here is the end of my New Year's poem:

I embrace hope as I contemplate,

Passing the strait gate,

To the most blessed place,

I accept that my faith,

Will raise me to the highest state.
