"They keep a gratitude journal by writing down everything they’re thankful for each day." This one thing has been a life saver for me, Janice. Rather than bemoan all the things I have "lost", every night, lying in bed, I count all the good things still left to me. eg I have all my teeth! I can still hear! I make a great soup! I have a neighbor who cares about me, people to write to. The plumbing in my house works. My old car never fails me. The roof doesn't leak." etc etc. Not big things, just the everyday things that prove that I am still okay. It works for me. Thank you, dear one, for caring about us all.

That is what keeps us going I think. Take care.
